It has a heel-to-toe length that allows for a steeper line of force between axle and rear teeth, giving this chock enhanced coefficient of friction. A hand-grab opening allows for fast placement and retrieval. Flanged base allows a full range of bracket options.<br /><b>HGS-SB</b> features a welded aluminum solid bottom, designed to resist soil compression, a common problem that causes your chocks to "dig in" to the ground. This chock is an excellent 1906 Wildland choice.<br /> Commonly used on heavy trucks and Wildland tanker fire trucks.
